Paul Jouard is a 7th generation winemaker in Chassagne-Montrachet. He has been making the family wines since 1992. He gives the grapes and the soil every possible opportunity to express themselves to their fullest.
The universal opinion is that this guy simply makes great wine.
His Bourgogne Côte d’Or Chardonnay is always one of the first to sell out. My wife says you could make a best-selling air freshener out of the bouquet of this wine.
This, Paul’s entry level wine, carries flavors of white peach, melon, and citrus, with balanced acidity across the palate. There is minimal oak influence.
